Mike Sacco had 20 points to lead Ellwood City Lincoln past Shenango in a nonsection battle.
Chaz Roth chipped in with 12 for the Wolverines (3-0).
Ellwood City iced the victory by sinking 9 of 13 foul shots in the fourth quarter.
Rich Gaston had 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Wildcats (1-2), while Mike Murcko added 10 markers and seven boards.
“We played hard, but we just came up a little short,” Shenango coach Bob McQuiston said. “Ellwood was pretty tough on defense.”
