Turnovers proved costly for Laurel in a nonsection loss to Ford City.
The Lady Spartans (0-3) committed 28 miscues in the setback.
“We had way too many turnovers,” Laurel coach Jen McGarrah said. “It was like we were playing two teams.”
Nicolette McCormick netted 12 points for the Lady Spartans.
Marissa Wolfe paced The Lady Sabers (3-0) with 21 points.
