Mohawk too much for Freedom
Freedom (63) Vs. Mohawk (80)
Dec 05, 2008
Senior Matt Lorello and junior Jake Grim poured in career highs during the opening round of the Riverside Tipoff Tournament.

Lorello, whose previous career high was 24 points, tickled the twine for 35 points, while Grim, whose had never scored more than nine points in a varsity game after battling a high ankle sprain most of last year, chipped in with 25.

Lorello also collected 15 rebounds and Grim came up with five steals.
“Jake really got set back last year with the ankle sprain, but he’s capable of doing some good things,” Mohawk coach Kevin Wrona said. “And Matt played really well tonight. He definitely has a chance to be a special player.”

Mohawk plays Monaca at 5:45 tonight.
