The Lady Greyhounds jumped out to a 13-5 lead after one quarter and never looked back in the opening round of the Grove City Kaiser Classic.
Wilmington takes on Lakeview, a 47-41 winner over Mercer, in today’s 6 p.m. title game.
Ashley Gardner scored 16 points and Molly Zimmer and Leah Day added 13 each for the winners. Julie Burns had eight points and nine rebounds, while Zimmer and Day added seven rebounds each.
“I was really pleased with our balance of scoring,” Lady Greyhounds coach Brian Turk said. “That’s what we feel we have to do to win, spread the scoring around.”
