Michelle Nocera scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Ellwood City closed its season on a high note with a nonsection victory.

“We missed our goal of winning a section game for our seniors,” Ellwood City Lincoln coach Bill Gottuso said. “Our second goal was to send them out with a win.”

The Lady Wolverines (6-16) outscored the Lady Lancers (16-7) 16-7 in the second quarter to take a 33-24 lead at the break.

Ashley Washington had 15 points,eight assists and eight rebounds fhr the Lady Wolverines.

Kylee Patton paced Neshannock with 19 points while Caitlyn Bleggi added 10.
