Wilmington pulled away for a District 10, Region 1-AA/A win over Greenville.

It was the season finale for the Lady Greyhounds (9-7, 13-11), who still have an outside shot at a District 10 Class AA playoff berth.

Reynolds (8-6, 14-7) will battle Sharpsville (10-4, 17-5) today and Wilmington needs a Sharpsville victory to possibly force a tie for fourth place in the region. The Lady Raiders will have one more game remaining.

Farrell (14-0, 18-2) is the region champion. However, the Steelerettes compete in Class A, leaving the next three teams as contenders for the AA playoffs.

Kara Kendall and Janelle Fauzey netted 17 points each to lead the Lady Greyhounds. Kendall pulled down a game-best 16 rebounds and Fauzey added eight boards and seven assists.

Leah Day had 10 markers for the winners.

Larae Tymochko paced the Lady Trojans (2-12, 4-14) with 14 points, surpassing the 1,000-point plateau.
