Neshannock too strong for Northgate

Senior guard Ean Oprean poured in a career-high 30 points in the Lancers' 72-46 Section 3-2A rout.

Jared Staph added 14 points, including four 3-pointers, for the Lancers (3-3, 8-4) while Danny Welker checked in with 10 rebounds. Oprean also finished with six rebounds and three steals.

Neshannock will play the rest of the season without sophomore guard Chris Scott, who suffered a partially-torn anterior cruciate ligament Tuesday in his first game back after a month-long battle with mononucleosis.

Northgate slipped to 0-6 and 4-10.
