Scotties stay in tie for section lead with win

First place is looking good on the Union High boys basketball team.

The Scotties maintained a share of the lead in WPIAL Section 1-1A with a 59-43 victory over visiting Holy Family on Friday night.
Union is now 3-0 in the section and 8-2 overall. Holy Family is 0-4 and 0-8.

Dom Dudo led the Scotties with 14 points. Constantine Padure and Tre Charles had eight rebounds apiece and Evan Pinkerton added five assists.

Union shares the section lead with Vincentian Academy. The teams will battle it out at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Scotties' court.
