Ellwood holds off Lincoln Park

The Lady Wolverines outscored the Lady Leopards 13-4 in the second quarter to grab control en route to a 42-32 Section 2-AAA home win.

Ellwood City Lincoln led 10-9 after the first quarter and pushed the buffer to 23-13 at halftime.

Karington Ketterer collected a game-high 14 points to go along with six rebounds for the Lady Wolverines (5-8, 8-12).

Allie McKelvey and Emily Brown tossed in seven points apiece for the winners. McKelvey added six boards, five steals and three assists, while Brown contributed four steals and three assists.

Alayah Mullins netted nine markers to lead Lincoln Park (2-11, 7-13).
