Beth Roitz had a career night for the Lady Wolverines in a nonsection triumph.

Roitz netted four 3-pointers and scored 27 points. She entered the game with just 53 points for the season.

“They didn’t challenge her and she came up big tonight,” Ellwood City coach Bill Gottuso said.

Alyse Washington followed with 20 markers and her twin sister Ashley added 13. Michelle Nocera followed with 10 for the Lady Wolverines (5-12).

“We spread the points around a little bit,” Gottuso said. “We finally put four quarters together and the outcome is what we expected.”

Alysa Schell led the Lady Bulldogs (11-8) with 11 points.
