Wilmington outlasts Reynolds
Wilmington (53) Vs. Reynolds (50)
Jan 15, 2016
Jimmy Powers took over offensively as the Greyhounds posted a 53-50 District 10, Region 2-AA victory over host Reynolds.

Powers led Wilmington (2-3, 6-7) with 28 points, including 10-of-10 from the free throw line, and four assists in the win while Spencer DeMedal was saddled on the bench for most of the second half with foul trouble.

“He gave me a look that said ‘I got this coach,’ “ Wilmington coach Mike Jeckavitch said of Powers. “The rest of the team did a good job of finding him. Jimmy decided to take it on his own and he was clutch. That shows the type of player he is, the moment isn’t too big for him.”
DeMedal also broke the double-digit barrier, scoring 10 points while adding six rebounds and five assists.
