Beaver Falls opened a 30-15 halftime lead and cruised to a Section 2-AA win over Laurel.

“Beaver Falls is a really good team,” Lady Spartans coach Jennifer McGarrah said. “Their defense really played well.”

Lindsey Sauers paced Laurel (2-8, 6-10) with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Courtney Smith was next with 10 markers.

“Lindsey played well on both ends of the floor,” McGarrah said.

Melissa Taylor led Beaver Falls (8-1, 13-6) with 11 points.
