The Wolverines blitzed the visiting Vikings in the final eight minutes of the contest in their 54-37 Section 2-AAA victory.
Ellwood City (3-3, 7-6) outscored the losers 24-6 in the final frame. Hopewell slipped to 0-6, 1-9.
Anthony Roth paced the victors with 26 points and Rick Roth added 14.
