The Wildcats slipped to 2-11 overall with the 54-33 nonsection homecourt loss to Mercer.

Brandon Bennett led Shenango with 15 points, including a trio of 3-point field goals.

The game was tied 12-12 after one quarter, but the Wildcats were outscored 20-4 in the second quarter and never recovered.
