Dec 18, 2015
Ethan Moose returned from a two-game injury absence to lead the Lancers with 21 points in a 70-49 Section 1-AA homecourt victory over Riverside.
Neshannock (3-0, 5-1) placed four players in double figures in the victory. In behind Moose were Jake Rylott with 18, Jason Swope with 11 and Ean Oprean with 10.
“It definitely was good to get Ethan back,” Lancers coach John Corey said. “Not that we’re a one-man team by any means, we easily go eight deep and have a lot of weapons, but having Ethan in there just make it work well for us.
“It was a solid game for us, we got off to a very aggressive start against a good team,” he added. “Frank Fraschetti only scored two points, but he is our point guard and makes us go. There are a lot of things he does that don’t show up in the box score.”
Dylan Speicher led Riverside (1-1, 3-3) with 17 points.
