The Lady Wolverines got off to a slow start and couldn't recover in dropping a 45-35 Section 2-AAA road contest to the Lady Warriors.
Ellwood City (0-2, 2-4) trailed 10-3 after the first quarter and 26-12 at the half.
Karington Ketterer collected a team-high 14 points with a game-best 15 rebounds for the Lady Wolverines. Paige Mason chipped in with eight points for the visitors.
Kaelyn Underwood led all scorers with 16 points for Central Valley (1-1, 3-1).
