Summit Academy holds off Mohawk
Summit Academy (67) Vs. Mohawk (64)
Jan 28, 2015
One quarter made the difference for host Summit Academy in a 67-64 Section 1-AA win over Mohawk.

Mohawk (0-11, 1-18) won three of the four quarters, but found itself on the wrong side of an 18-7 third quarter that was enough for the Knights.

Zach Shasteen led all scorers with 26 points. Ricky Malutic added 19 points and Spencer McConahy tallied 13.

“Zach and Ricky have both done a good job of putting the ball in the hoop,” Mohawk coach Rob Fadden said. “We’ve played buzzer to buzzer, we just can’t catch a break to get the ball to bounce the right way. That’s three games that have gone down to the wire for us.”

Dennis Richardson paced Summit Academy (2-9, 3-13) with 20 points.
