The visiting Lady Wildcats couldn’t overcome the Riverside onslaught in a Section 1-AA meeting.
The Lady Panthers outscored Shenango 28-14 in the second half after ending the first half tied.
“We just didn’t score,” Shenango coach Brian Turk said. “We turned the ball over, we forced things at times and couldn’t find a way to score. Then we couldn’t make stops, we didn’t stick with the gameplan.
“Overall, Riverside did a great job of not falling apart and getting back into the game.”
Samantha Seaburn and Jacqui Baker led the Lady Wildcats (3-4, 7-6) with 10 points each. Seaburn added 12 rebounds to her total.
Katie Stang paced Riverside (5-2, 11-2) with a game-high 23 points.
