The Lady Greyhounds didn’t score until the early stages of the second in dropping a District 10, Region 2-AA home contest to Greenville.
The Trojanettes led 10-0 after the first quarter.
“We didn’t show up offensively or defensively,” said first-year Wilmington coach Matt Fabian. “We didn’t make any shots early; we got in a hole early.
“They played good defense, but we’re too passive. We’re not penetrating and we’re standing on offense. When you’re not making shots, it shows.”
Hannah Drake delivered a team-high 10 points for the Lady Greyhounds (1-4, 5-9). Lexi Brumbaugh was next with eight markers.
