Lady Scots struggle in loss
Lincoln Park (51) Vs. Union (45)
Jan 09, 2015
Only three Lady Scots registered points in their loss to nonsection opponent and host Lincoln Park.

Skylar Thompson (19 points), Sarah Seamans (14) and Tyanna Harris (12) did all they could for Union (1-11), but the size advantage that the Lady Leopards held was too much.

“We struggled to score points,” Union coach Larry Ondako said. “Even the 14 we had in the fourth, a couple of them came right at the end. It’s what we do, sometimes we struggle to score. We don’t get any easy shots, we’re a small team.

“Those three girls shot the ball really well, but we struggle to make all of the other ones. No easy stick-backs or easy layups. But we played better.”

Cayla Nesmith led Lincoln Park (3-8) with a game-high 20 points.
