The visiting Lady Warriors used a 29-point fourth quarter to propel them to victory over Section 1-AA opponent New Brighton.
Mohawk (4-1, 10-2) shut down the Lady Lions in the second half, allowing just seven points, all of which came in the fourth quarter.
The Lady Lions (0-5, 1-10) led by three points heading into the second half, but couldn’t find their footing on either side of the ball following the break.
Samantha Carr paced Mohawk with 18 points, 14 in the second half. Erin Giancola added eight points and 10 rebounds to the cause.
