The Lady Wolverines rallied in the fourth quarter to knock off the visiting Lady Warriors in Section 2-AAA action.

Ellwood City Lincoln (1-3, 4-6) trailed 30-28 after three quarters before outscoring Central Valley (1-4, 2-8) 15-11 in the fourth frame.

“I think this game gave us the confidence that we needed after three tough section games. Even though I don’t think we gave our best performance, but we’ll take the section win,” Lady Wolverines coach Jolene Servick said. “The girls dug in and did what it took to win.”

Karington Ketterer posted 17 points for Ellwood City and Bailey McKinney was next with 12. Allie McKelvey notched a team-high 10 rebounds for the winners and Ketterer snared seven to go with her four steals.
