Janelle Fauzey sparked Wilmington over Kennedy Catholic in a District 10, Region 1-A/AA game.

After suffering an ankle sprain during the third quarter, Fauzey got it taped and re-entered the game in the final period. She scored eight of Wilmington’s 13 points in the fourth quarter.

“I thought that was big of her,” Lady Greyhounds coach Brian Turk said. “That’s something a senior leader does and she showed that tonight.”

Leah Day had nine points and 19 rebounds for Wilmington (5-4, 7-8). Kara Kendall had 13 boards to go with her four points.

Ashley Kirkpatrick led the Lady Golden Eagles (3-6, 4-10) with 19 points and Caitlin Lenhart followed with 11.
