A steady hand on defense propelled Mohawk to a championship win in the Laurel Highlands Christmas Tournament.
The Lady Warriors (7-2) never allowed the hosts to hit the double-digit mark in any quarter, allowing nine points each in the first three quarters and seven in the final stanza.
Aliya Gage paced Mohawk with 14 points, while Samantha Carr added 13.
Gage, who missed the first four games of the season with a knee injury, easily eclipsed her season high of nine points.
Ashley Galderisi led the Lady Mustangs (4-6) with 19 points.
