A barrage of 3-pointers helped Ambridge sink the host Wolverines in a Section 2-AAA matchup.
The Bridgers (1-1, 2-2) connected on eight deep shots, including four from Daylon Carter. Carter went on to score a game-high 22 points, with Darius Lawrence following with an 18-point performance.
Ellwood City (0-1, 2-3) was led by Ricie Scott, who was the only Wolverine to hit double-digit points with 10.
Ambridge jumped out to a 21-11 lead after the first quarter and shut down Ellwood City, only allowing 15 Wolverines points in the second and third quarters combined.
