The Lady Warriors’ defense was strong in a Section 1-AA home win over Beaver Falls.

Mohawk (2-0, 4-1) allowed just three foul shots in the first half in posting a 20-3 halftime advantage.

“You’re doing something right when you don’t allow a field goal in the first half,” Lady Warriors coach Mike O’Lare said.

Erin Giancola garnered 10 points and six rebounds for Mohawk, while Samantha Carr contributed nine markers and five boards. Madison Shiderly snared a team-high seven rebounds to go with her four points.
