Union cold in loss
Avonworth (46) Vs. Union (35)
Dec 10, 2014
A defensive showing wasn’t enough for host Union as its offense went cold against Avonworth.

The Scotties (0-3) were held to nine points in the second and third quarters as the Antelopes created a lead that lasted throughout the game.

“Defensively, we were playing very well,” Union coach Mark Stanley said. “They played zone and we couldn’t get the ball in the hole. We just have to shoot it better.”

Timmy Sumner led the way for Union with eight points.
