Lady Hounds crush Jamestown
Wilmington (65) Vs. Jamestown (15)
Feb 07, 2014
The visiting Lady Greyhounds opened the District 10 nonregion rout with a 17-0 lead and never looked back.

Wilmington (13-7) pushed its lead to 33-4 at the break and 53-8 entering the final period.

“It was really good for my girls coming off our down turn,” Wilmington coach Brandy Sanford said. “It gave them a chance to play with each other and have fun doing it. Everything was working well for us and the girls needed to see that.”

Tessa Sikora led the way with 21 points, while Dakota Naples also reached double figures with 10.

“Jamestown is down,” Sanford said. “I have to give my girls credit. I told them we needed to get out and push the ball and do what we need to do. We have two games coming up that are important for us. Everyone got in and played significant minutes.”
