Tessa Sikora scored 18 of her game-high 26 points in the first quarter to lead Wilmington to a 63-17 victory over New Brighton in the consolation game of the Union Booster Tournament.
Wilmington raced to a 28-5 lead after the first quarter and coasted.
“We really did start strong and Tessa helped us start that way,” Lady Greyhounds coach Brandy Sanford said. “That was a nice effort from Tessa.”
Wilmington held a 37-7 lead at the break.
