A 11-6 deficit in the fourth quarter proved to be the difference for the Lady Scots in their Section 1-A home opener.
Sewickley Academy (1-0, 2-2) grabbed a slim 6-4 cushion after the first quarter and extended it to 13-8 at the half before Union (0-1, 0-4) stormed back to knot the score at 15 after three quarters.
Skylar Thompson led Union with eight points, while Tyanna Harris tacked on six.
