Foul shooting proved costly for New Castle in a nonsection home loss to Seneca Valley.
The Lady ’Canes (7-13) missed 11 free throws in 27 attempts. The Lady Raiders (8-9) were 8 of 11 at the foul line.
Kelsey Scott paced New Castle with 13 points, while Darrian Johnson and Velvet Wade added seven apiece.
Paige Montrose recorded 12 points for Seneca Valley.
