The Greyhounds trailed 34-21 at the half and never recovered in the District 10, Region 2-AA loss.

Carson Sharbaugh led Wilmington (2-3, 5-5) with 11 points. Ryan Foht followed with eight markers.

“It was a tough loss,” Wilmington coach Will Harris said. “Sharon is playing great defense. They are all quick and they work real well as a team.

“I think my team could learn from that because we’re playing like a bunch of individuals and not as a team right now.”

D’Andre Johnson paced the Tigers (4-1, 8-3) with 15 points. He had three of Sharon’s 10 3-pointers. Ryan Sypolt followed with 14 points and he had four 3s.
