Ellwood City Lincoln couldn’t keep up with the offensive power of undefeated Blackhawk.
The Lady Cougars took an early 29-8 lead after the first quarter of the Section 2-AAA tilt.
“We struggled once again with the defensive pressure and turned the ball over too much.” Lady Wolverines coach Jolene Servick said. “We couldn’t set up an offense to get the ball down low to our posts.”
Ellwood City (1-6, 7-8) turned the ball over 42 times in the game with 26 coming in the first half.
Bailey McKinney led the Lady Wolverines with five points and had the team’s lone 3-pointer.
