The Lady Lancers couldn’t find the range offensively in a Section 2-AA road loss to Beaver Falls.

Neshannock (2-3, 5-7) was just 9 of 39 from the floor.

“Our shooting wasn’t great,” Lady Lancers coach Luann Grybowski said. “They played really tough man-to-man defense on us.

“It’s a tough loss. You hope you can go down there and keep it close and give yourself a chance to win. They were just all over us defensively. We never got into a flow on offense.”

Alexandra Fischer paced Neshannock with 10 points. Erin Warvell added six rebounds and four assists, while Tayler Grybowski pulled down six boards.

Madison McHale, who came in averaging 16.1 points a game in eight contests, was held to just two points. McHale picked up three quick fouls and sat out three-fourths of the second quarter for the Lady Lancers. She was hit with her fourth foul in the third quarter and fouled out early in the fourth quarter.

Ayanna Vaughn recorded 19 points to lead the Lady Tigers.
