The Lady Wildcats trailed by just five points going to the fourth quarter before Beaver Falls took control.
The Lady Tigers outscored Shenango (0-4, 6-5), 27-3, in the fourth quarter for the Section 2-AA road win.
“It was a closer game than the score showed,” Lady Wildcats coach Brian Turk said. “They really turned it up defensively in the fourth quarter.
“We turned the ball over too much and that turned into scores for them. We just got outplayed in the fourth period. We just didn’t play four complete quarters.”
Samantha Seaburn registered a team-high 14 points for Shenango.
