The Lady ’Canes outscored Mount Pleasant 10-2 in the last five minutes to break a 31-31 tie and claim the championship of the New Castle Holiday Tournament with a 41-33 victory
Rachel Razzano paced the Lady ’Canes (5-4) with a game-high 18 points, including bucketing four key foul shots in the last five minutes. Included in that stretch was a three-point play to ignite New Castle’s run.
Kelsey Scott followed with 11 points for the winners.
Alexa Szelong netted 10 points to lead the Lady Vikings (4-4).
