Mohawk boys earn victory
Mohawk (43) Vs. Western Beaver (37)
Dec 28, 2012
Mohawk edged Western Beaver via an 18-point fourth quarter in the Mohawk Holiday Classic.

“It wasn’t our best performance by any means,” Warriors coach Rob Fadden said. “They took us out of anything we really wanted to do.”

The Golden Beavers (1-6) held a 29-25 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

“We came in very flat and not very motivated,” Fadden said. “In the fourth quarter we made a couple of adjustments to create some energy.”

Lucas Grim notched 10 points to pace the Warriors (4-4). Jonathan Grim, his brother, and Ryan Sager both had eight.

“Lucas did a good job getting his hands on the ball,” Fadden said. “They did a lot of things to try to contain him, but he still made plays.”
