Wilmington jams Jamestown
Wilmington (38) Vs. Jamestown (80)
Dec 19, 2012
The second meeting was much like the first, as Wilmington flexed its offensive muscle against visiting Jamestown.
The Greyhounds (3-2) played the nonsection Muskies for the second time this season, handily winning the first meeting, 81-21.
Jesse Hilliard’s 21 points paced a Wilmington team that had four players in double digits. Ryan Brumbaugh was next with 14 points. Dmitri Martini nailed three 3-pointers and finished with 11 points. Jordan Smith was next with 10 points.
“Defensively, we didn’t bring our best effort tonight,” Greyhounds coach Mike Jeckavitch said. “That’s fine when offensively we’re scoring the way we did. We took advantage of our opportunities. We shared the ball very well.”
Rocco Fagan handed out a team-high 11 assists to go with seven points for the winners.
