Sister tandem Amanda and Sarah Herb paved the way for the Lady Wildcats in a nonsection home win over Freedom.
Older sister Amanda Herb notched 26 points and 14 rebounds, while Sarah Herb collected 11 markers and 13 boards.
“A lot of the paint play was picked up by the Herb sisters,” Lady Wildcats coach Brian Turk said. “They picked up everything. Our guards did a real good job feeding them. We had 50 rebounds the whole game, and they got 27 of them.”
Shenango (5-2) bounced back from a Section 2-AA loss to Riverside on Monday.
“It was a nice rebound win,” Turk said. “I thought we ran into a buzzsaw on Monday, and we couldn’t score. We played a scrappy game.”
