McHale leads Lady Lancers
Neshannock (59) Vs. New Brighton (45)
Dec 18, 2012
It didn’t take long for Madison McHale to get back in the swing of things.

The Neshannock star scored 24 points in a 59-45 section win over visiting New Brighton.

McHale was playing in her third game since transferring back to Neshannock from Minnesota. She was second in the county last season with an average of 17.9 points a game.

The Lady Lancers (1-1, 2-4) bounced back after a slow start to win their first Section 2-AA game.

“It feels good. The first section win is always the toughest,” Neshannock coach Luann Grybowski said. “Hopefully we can build on this and go from there.”

The Lady Lancers forced 30 turnovers in the game, five of them coming from Tayler Grybowski. Grybowski also contributed 10 points with three assists.
