The Lady ’Canes placed four players in double figures in improving to 1-1 in WPIAL Section 2-AAA.
Dana Perrotta led New Castle (3-2 overall) with 18 points, followed by Rachel Razzano and Kelsey Scott each with 16 and Darrian Johnson with 15.
The Lady ’Canes extended a 19-8 first quarter lead to 32-12 by halftime and never looked back.
West Allegheny fell to 0-2 and 2-4.
