Slippery Rock’s Dan Bertozzi made sure his only basket was a big one.
The Rockets trailed 49-48 with one second left and were inbounding the ball under their basket. Bertozzi, who was scoreless to that point, took a pass and launched a 3-pointer that swished in at the buzzer to give Slippery Rock a nonregion road win over Ellwood City Lincoln.
Matt Morella recorded a game-high 21 points for the Wolverines (8-14) and Matt Germanoski was next with 12.
Ryan Thompson paced Slippery Rock (7-14) with 16 markers.
