Neshannock took full advantage of the foul line to earn a win and advance into the championship game of the Lady Lancer Christmas Tournament.

Neshannock did not record a field goal in the final quarter, going 11 of 12 from the charity stripe and 20 of 26 from the line in the game.

“(Kylee Patton) was sick and didn’t play, so for these girls to step up without her, this is a big accomplishment for this group,” Lady Lancers coach Greg Huston said. “It was a total team effort tonight and that was great to see.”

Courtney Frengel paced Neshannock (7-3) with 14 points. Erika Warvell and Caitlyn Bleggi each followed with nine markers.

Cassy Hinderliter paced Keystone with 15 points.

Neshannock will play Sharpsville in the championship game at 7:30 p.m. today.
