Kennedy Catholic led 41-22 at the half and cruised to a District 10, nonregion road win over Wilmington.
The Lady Golden Eagles (10-3) are ranked No. 3 in the state in Class A by the Patriot-News of Harrisburg.
“They didn’t beat us with the press,” Lady Greyhounds coach Brandy Sanford said. “They had five shooters on the court and it’s tough to defend them all.
“The score doesn’t indicate how we played. We played hard on both ends of the floor.”
Alanna Elliott led Wilmington (7-7) with 15 points.
Marina Wareham tossed in a game-high 16 points for the Lady Golden Eagles. Five of her six field goals were 3-pointers.
Former Shenango standout Angelene Rapone netted six points for Kennedy Catholic.
