Beaver girls rout Ellwood
Beaver (45) Vs. Ellwood City (20)
Jan 10, 2012
Beaver jumped out to a 14-4 lead and cruised to a Section 2-AAA road win over Ellwood City Lincoln.

The Lady Wolverines (0-5, 3-8) turned the ball over 33 times in the loss.

“Defensively, we held them to 45 points and that’s a positive,” first-year Ellwood City coach Jolene Servick said. “Offensively, we can’t win with just 20 points.

“We have to learn to take care of the ball better. We’re throwing the ball away too much.”

Bailey McKinney led the Lady Wolverines with seven points and Asia Borders was next with six

Emily Kondracki recorded a game-high 14 points for the Lady Bobcats (3-1, 9-4), who are coached by former Neshannock bench boss Greg Huston.
