A slow start proved costly to Neshannock in a 64-38 nonsection road loss to Beaver.
The Bobcats (7-3) raced out to a commanding 22-4 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.
“We got outplayed in every aspect of the game of basketball,” Lancers coach John Corey said. “Even though it was nonsection, we’re not playing very good right now; we needed this to get back on track.”
Ernie Burkes and Anthony Van Eman tossed in 10 points apiece to lead Neshannock (3-5).
Christian Herstine netted a game-high 16 points for Beaver.
