Sharpsville never gave Shenango a chance in a nonconference road rout of the Lady Wildcats.
The Blue Darlings (5-2) led 23-2 after the first quarter and held Shenango (1-10) to four first-half points.
“Sharpsville is just a very good District 10 team,” Shenango’s Brian Turk said. “They’re very talented and they’re a playoff contender every year. That’s tough, especially when you’re down as many girls as we are.”
Sharpsville’s McKenzie Popatak scored 13 of her game-high 21 in the first quarter. Jenna Petrucci led Shenango with eight points.
