Wilmington’s fourth-quarter comeback fell short on the road in a 32-27 District 10, Region 2-AA loss to Sharpsville last night.
The Lady Greyhounds trailed 8-1 after the first quarter and 13-10 at the break. The Blue Darlings pushed the buffer to 22-14 going to the fourth frame before holding on for the win.
Alanna Elliott led Wilmington with 13 points.
