Blackhawk opened up a big first-quarter lead and never allowed Ellwood City Lincoln back in the game during a Section 2-AAA matchup.
Chassidy Omogrosso scored 10 points in the first quarter and 15 of her 18 in the first half, when the Lady Cougars (2-0, 5-0) took a 41-11 lead. Alexis Graham led all scorers with 21 points.
Asia Borders paced Ellwood City (0-2, 2-3) with 12 points. She also snatched seven rebounds.
