Elliott leads Wilmington girls to win

Wilmington’s Alanna Elliott scored a career-high 22 points to lead a Lady Greyhounds comeback.
Wilmington (2-1) trailed 15-8 after one quarter, but held West Middlesex scoreless in the second period, taking a 19-15 lead into halftime. The Lady Greyhounds outscored West Middlesex, 28-22, the rest of the way to secure the win.
Elliott’s previous career best was 14, accomplished last year as a freshman.
